張彣卉 Chang,Wen-Hui

張彣卉老師認為,身為一位師長,對待每個人都應該讓對方感受到自身的溫暖,這種力量有著強大的影響力。她以身作則,全心全意地瞭解每位學生,將所擁有的精力回饋給學生,在這互相學習的過程中持續不斷地成長。

Professor Chang believes that as a teacher, one should treat everyone in a way where they can feel your warmth, as a strong influential power exists within such strength. She sets herself as an example by understanding each student wholeheartedly, and contributing her energy to the students, where she continues to grow as well during this mutual learning process.

拉近距離,建立緊密關係

「針對剛接觸的學生,張老師在學期初會進行簡單的問卷了解學生,以利晤談時能與學生輕鬆地展開話題,進一步關懷同學與導生互動。」張老師分享到:能夠了解學生的興趣喜好,以及未來的學習計畫,又或是學生較內心深處的想法,使她能在適當的時機深入關懷學生。

張老師是一位熱情活潑的教育者,經常以細緻入微、溫暖貼心的方式與學生交流。每學期開始一段時間,學生習慣上學的生活節奏後,張彣卉老師會利用定期的晤談機會與學生談心,進而了解學生在學期中的個人情況。晤談後的詳細筆記與追蹤更新,能使張老師與導生堆疊彼此的信任與關懷,建立緊密的輔導網絡。老師提到,有些學生喜歡集體聚在一起,分享彼此的生活趣聞,然而,也有些學生更喜歡進行個別對談,因此需要根據情況進行靈活調整。

Come Closer to Each Other to Build a Close Relationship

“For newly acquainted students, Professor Chang would conduct simple questionnaire at the beginning of the semester to get to know the students, thereby facilitating conversations with the students easily during meetings, taking a step further to care about the students and interact with the trainees.” Professor Chang shared that she can learn better about the students’ interests and hobbies, their future learning plans, as well as the thoughts deep in their hearts, which allows her to provide care to the students at the appropriate time.

Professor Chang is a passionate and lively educator, who often communicates with the students in a thoughtful and heart-warming approach. After a period of time into a semester when the students become used to the academic routines, Professor Chang would use regular meeting opportunities to have heart-to-heart chats with the students, thereby learning more about the students’ individual conditions throughout the semester. The detailed notes and follow-ups after the meetings allow Professor Chang and the trainees to establish mutual trust and care, thereby building a close counseling network. Professor mentioned that some students prefer to gather together and share their life stories, yet some students prefer conducting separate meetings, hence adjustments need to be made according to the situations.

學習的真諦,在成長之旅逐漸展現

張老師期望學生在大學生涯中能夠持續學習,不僅僅追求高分與排名,而是期待他們能夠發展獨特而完整的人格。因為大學不僅是吸收知識,更是成長的重要時期。張老師強調,這段時光是否培養了解決問題的能力,是否在團隊合作中學會了溝通與協調。這樣的成長體驗,才是學習的真諦、一輩子的珍貴資產。

對於導師的角色,張老師強調其重要性。導師不僅是知識的傳遞者,更是學生成長路上的引導者。然而,她也坦言這是一項具有挑戰性的工作,需要不斷反思、學習,並與時俱進。從激發學生的學習興趣、因應不同的學習風格以及引領他們走向自己的興趣與夢想,都是需要努力思考和應對的課題。

The Truth of Learning Gradually Shows in the Journey of Growth

Professor Chang anticipates the students to continue learning in university life, not just pursuing high grades and rankings, but hoping that they can develop unique yet comprehensive personalities. As university is not only about absorbing knowledge, but it is also a vital period for growth. Professor Chang emphasized whether this period has cultivated the ability to solve issues, and whether one has learned to communicate and coordinate through teamwork. Such growth experience is the truth of learning, a valuable asset for life.

Professor Chang emphasized the importance of the role of a mentor. Mentors are not merely the conveyors of knowledge, but are further instructors for the students on the path of growth. However, she also said frankly that this is a task filled with challenges, requiring constant retrospection, learning, and keeping up with the times. Stimulating the students’ learning interests, embracing different learning styles, and guiding them to advance toward their interests and dreams are all topics requiring hard thinking and responses.

心需要裹著光,而每道光也需要裹著一顆心

張彣卉老師相信透過溫暖與情感的關心,可以讓學生真實感受到溫度。她秉持「讓自己的心,裹著光」的信念,付出行動時除了照亮學生,也須真心傳遞每份心意,並願意傾心輔導學生追尋自己喜愛的事物與夢想。對她而言,只要學生每天都努力朝著目標前進,就能為此感到自豪和自信。「存在,是很有意義的。」

A Heart Needs to be Enveloped with Light, Yet Each Ray of Light also Needs to Encircle a Heart

Professor Chang believes that the students can actually feel the warmth through warm and emotional caring. She persists in the belief of “Letting one’s Heart be Enveloped with Light,” where besides brightening up the students while putting forth the actions, she must also sincerely convey each intention, and be willing to counsel the students in pursuing their passions and dreams. To her, she will be proud and confident as long as the students strive towards their goals every day. “Existence is of significant meaning”
