會計系的學生大多數都非常有規劃和目標。許多人一入學就瞄準了會計師考試或四大事務所的實習機會。曹老師認為,這種特質使得學生們在專業競賽和職涯發展方面非常積極,並且很早就有了明確的職業規劃。即便有些同學一開始不太確定自己的目標,但通過系上的各種課程和活動,他們亦能逐漸找到自己未來的發展方向。
在帶領學生的過程中,曹老師發現會計系的同學比較內向,不太會在公開場合主動發問。但在規劃未來職涯這件事情上,他們是非常積極的。這可能與會計系的課程和職業發展路徑比較清晰,學生們比較容易找到自己的方向。
創新教學與領導力培養:打造班級凝聚力
曹老師會利用班會時間進行宣導,並組織各種活動來促進學生間的互動。例如,「小天使與小主人」遊戲能讓大家更快熟悉彼此,建立友誼。曹老師強烈鼓勵每位學生都應至少擔任一次班級幹部,這不僅是為了讓大家共同承擔責任,更是為了鍛鍊他們的領導能力,增進合作,並提升班級凝聚力。
曹老師還發現,創新教學方法能讓課堂變得更有趣和充滿挑戰。根據學生的反饋和需求,她會調整教學計劃,嘗試不同的教學工具和資源,不僅讓學生覺得新鮮有趣,也使曹老師在教學中維持著熱情。例如,在輔導學生參加稅務比賽時,曹老師組建了一個稅務團隊,從一年級就開始培訓,並在暑假進行集訓。這種長期培訓方式讓學生有更多時間準備,最終在比賽中取得了優異的成績。

Students in the Accounting Department are generally well-organized and goal-driven. Many set their sights on the CPA exam or internships at the Big Four accounting firms as soon as they begin their studies. Ms. Cao believes this characteristic makes students highly proactive in both professional competitions and career development, with many having a clear career plan early on. Even those who are initially uncertain about their goals often find their path through the department’s various courses and activities.
In her experience leading students, Ms. Cao has noticed that accounting students tend to be more introverted and are less likely to ask questions in public settings. However, they are exceptionally proactive when it comes to planning their future careers. This may be due to the well-defined curriculum and career development path in the accounting field, which helps students find their direction more easily.
Innovative Teaching and Leadership Development: Building Class Cohesion
Ms. Cao utilizes class meetings to provide guidance and organize various activities to promote student interaction. For example, the “Little Angels and Little Hosts” game helps students get to know each other more quickly and build friendships. Ms. Cao strongly encourages every student to take on a class leadership role at least once, not only to share responsibilities but also to cultivate leadership skills, enhance collaboration, and strengthen class cohesion.
Ms. Cao has also found that innovative teaching methods make the classroom more engaging and challenging. Based on student feedback and needs, she adjusts her teaching plans and experiments with different tools and resources, making lessons both refreshing and exciting. This approach also helps her maintain enthusiasm in her teaching. For instance, when preparing students for tax competitions, Ms. Cao formed a tax team, starting their training as early as their first year and holding intensive summer training sessions. This long-term preparation strategy allowed students ample time to prepare, ultimately leading to outstanding results in the competitions.
Beyond Knowledge Transfer: Walking Together with Support and Encouragement
Ms. Cao believes that being a teacher is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about guiding students in setting their goals and providing continuous support and encouragement throughout their learning journey. She hopes to inspire her students to not only study hard but also to discover a career they are truly passionate about. While studying accounting may be challenging, she emphasizes that by diligently developing their skills, students will have greater freedom in their future career choices. She encourages her students with the words, “The larger your ambition, the greater your capability!” Ultimately, everyone can achieve their dreams and pursue what they genuinely love.
